David Kennedy is a California-based videographer, director, editor, photographer, and motion graphics artist. He attended UCLA Film School and was co-founder and co-owner of Fresno Magazine. David has worked for Dreamworks, Disney Studios, Technicolor, and others. David directed and edited television commercials that have been awarded the prestigious ADDY Best of Show Award, three times out of five years, as well as the ADDY for the Best TV Commercial, four times out of five years. His short film, The Art of Appreciation, was officially selected at Cannes and France's prestigious Deauville Film Festival.

The film stars Kyla Dyan, Sam Street, and Jessica Greene.
David recently Directed, Edited and Shot the other short film, Red Watch. Starring his daughter, Actress/Writer, Kyla Dyan. Red Watch has become an Official Selection at over 37 International Film Festivals, including the 2019 BRISBANE INT'L FILM FESTIVAL in Australia. It also WON the NEW YORK International Short Film Festival as Best Experimental Film. The film is also the Official Selection to the BURBANK Int'l Film Festival, the DUMBO (NYC) Film Festival, CHAIN Film Festival (NYC, Times Sq.) Albuquerque Film & Music Festival, San Jose Int'l Short Film Festival, The Oakland Int'l Film Festival, CA Independent Film Festival in SF, and the Lady Film Makers Film Festival in Beverly Hills.
David’s film work has been seen in more than 10 states and eight countries, on channels such as ESPN, MTV, ABC, FOX, CBS, NBC, TNT, MYSPACE, COMCAST, BBC, and La rue in France.
